I hold degrees in Art Education, Studio Art, and Art History. I received my teaching credential from HSU in 2011 and have taught drawing courses through HSU’s Extended Education, Arcata Art Institute workshops and am currently the an art teacher for Mattole Valley Charter Schools. I am a member of the collective of artists known as Empire Squared Gallery for Contemporary Art and have shown my work locally in several galleries including the First Street Gallery, Hunter Plaid Gallery, the Ironside Gallery, Empire Squared, Piante and at several small businesses throughout the community. I have also been involved with the Giant Squid Printmakers, a group that operates out of Eureka that focus on a variety of printmaking techniques namely relief printing and screen printing.
